"Coming home from very lonely places, all of us go a little mad: whether from great personal success, or just an all-night drive, we are the sole survivors of a world no one else has ever seen." - John le Carre

more pictures
Shameless self-advertising, I guess...
I added another (VERY SMALL) gallery for your viewing pleasure. All five of you.
These are just a couple more pictures from the Red Moshannon Canoe Race. I'm a little proud of them, so please be kind.
I checked your album out as a way to distract myself from studying the brain. Luckily, it was a worthy distraction! My favorite of the latest album was the pic of kayaks clustered on the bank with water in the right side of the photo. Good composition.
Woah. Those pictures are amazing. I am so glad you put them up! The architecture is stunning and I am not even that into that kind of thing usually. I will have to look at all the other sets later today after I babysit! Hope you are well and having a good time traveling!
wow! the rest of your pictures are so amazing! I wish i could have been there or at least visited! As much as I am enjoying grad school (and overall i really am!) there's always the reality that with everything you choose to do there are infinite opportunities you leave behind. That's just life i guess. I'll look forward to pics of Alaska. Travel safe!!!

But, um... where were the canoes?
Ooh! The brain! That is one organ I would love to know more about! What are you learning?
Thanks for the vote of worthiness! And canoes? They were in all the other pictures. ;-)

Thanks, Rebecca! Babysitting? Very good, sounds like you're getting your kid fix out there.
We're about to have a great time: The Alaska roadtrip kicks off today!
